In case you missed it, here is the presentation on Logic Models given this morning at the Allen County Public Library by Dawn Martz, Foellinger Foundation Senior Program Officer.

Organizations that will be applying in the Foellinger Youth Development grant category in the near future composed the intended audience.

The Foellinger grant packet was not covered.  If you are interested in finding out if your organization is eligible to apply for Foellinger funding please see Foellinger’s Website for further information.

If you’re not applying in the Youth Development grant category, the Foundation is offering upcoming workshops for grant applicants in the Early Childhood, Family Development, and Community Interests categories.  Watch for further updates.

In case you missed it here is the presentation on Evaluation Tools for Organizational Learning  given on June 12, 2013 at the library by Dawn  Martz, Foellinger Foundation Senior Program Officer and Mike Stone, Foellinger  Foundation Evaluation Consultant.

Logic models and measurement frameworks – basic tools of evaluation – serve two important purposes. First, they are a mechanism of accountability for the Foundation. Second, the logic model and measurement framework can be a powerful learning tool for your organization (excerpted from the Foellinger Foundation website).  Foellinger Evaluation Materials.

This presentation will help you to learn how to use the logic model to:

~ Promote deeper discussions about mission, strategy and organizational effectiveness
~ Organize theories, assumptions and beliefs
~ Encourage evaluative thinking and decision-making processes

The Evaluation as Learning workshop is open to anyone wanting to learn more about using a logic model to effectively evaluate programs and use those findings to inform organizational mission and strategy.

This workshop will help you to learn how to use the logic model to:
