Position: Development Administrative Assistant
Job Description: The Development Assistant must be able to work effectively as a team member with the development staff, donors, volunteers, and the public. They must be able to engage individuals in the vision of White’s through effective written communication. They must be able to follow direction as well as self-initiate to help meet goals. The successful candidate will have the personality and desire to engage donors, volunteers, and the public. They must have high ethical standards and maintain professional boundaries and complete confidentiality. Dependability, accuracy, cooperation, organization, and the desire to learn are vital to this position. Creativity and writing ability is desirable/ Commitment to the Mission, Core Values, and Vision of White’s Residential & Family Services is central to the success of this position.
Job Qualifications: This person must have a minimum of a high school diploma, with some college preferred. This person must have experience in written communications, bookkeeping, administrative assistance and/or development. Strong computer skills are required.
Hourly, non-exempt: Negotiable hourly rate. Benefits include Health, Dental and Vision insurance; Paid Time Off; Retirement Plan; Life Insurance; and Short Term Disability.
Approximate Hours Per Week: 35-40 hours per week. Some weekends when there is a performance.
Travel: Must have reliable transportation to Wabash campus.
