The 2015 Penny Pitch applications are due August 31, 2015!
Penny Pitch Inc. is a nonprofit, in connection with WOWO Radio, that raises funds for “community service organizations serving Fort Wayne, Allen County, and Northeast Indiana.” The nonprofit started in 1948 and provides grants to qualified applicants. “This includes, but is not limited to organizations that serve the needy and disadvantaged by providing shelter, food, clothing, medical care, and other essential social services.” No funds for individuals, religious organizations or those that do not serve Allen County. Nonprofits can serve populations outside Allen County but they must serve at least some inhabitants in Allen County.
There is no form. Please submit the following as your application:
– Official Organization name and address
– 501c3 status
– 1 to 2 page summary of your organization
– No more than a 1 page summary of how you would use the donated Penny Pitch funds. This could be a new program that you would like to start offering, a dormant or small program you would like to expand, or a program that has overwhelming need that you’re unable to keep up with. Please explain how the funds will be used.
