Arts United has launched a broad-based survey regarding Quality of Life in Northeast Indiana. Arts United hopes to receive input from a wide range of people in northeast Indiana to understand how local amenities help connect, attract and retain people in our region.
As an engaged citizen of greater Fort Wayne, your thoughts on the role of arts, culture, social offerings and community amenities are very important. Your input will be invaluable as community leaders consider how to grow and develop our region’s quality of life.
Please click here to take the survey and share your ideas! Or you can visit Arts United’s website at www.ArtsUnited.org/QoLSurvey.
We also invite you to participate in one of two public Town Hall Meetings in the Parkview Physicians Group ArtsLab, located at the Auer Center for Arts & Culture, 300 E Main Street on the Downtown Arts Campus. Meeting times are:
- Tuesday, July 14, 3:30 – 5:00 pm
- Wednesday, July 15, 8:00 – 9:30 am
Results from the survey and town hall meetings will inform the work of a Cultural Advancement Committee comprised of approximately 30 community leaders and chaired by Chuck Surack, president and founder of Sweetwater. The Committee will incorporate public input from the survey into a Platform for Cultural Advancement, a ten year agenda for arts and culture in greater Fort Wayne. The outcomes proposed in the Platform will help guide Arts United as it develops its own organizational strategic plan.
Please share the invitation to participate and thank you for helping to shape the future of our community!
