The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne HR Webinar Series

The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne has officially announced its training opportunities for the first half of 2015. These trainings will focus on topics pertinent to Human Resources in small nonprofit organizations. These sessions are offered at no cost however RSVPs are required. From the Foundation: “Using a case study method, Zac Kester with Charitable Allies, will introduce you to resources you can access and policies you can implement to effectively manage employees in a small (2-10 employees) nonprofit organization. This series is being offered through a joint effort with Indiana Philanthropy Alliance.”

Each session will be held at the Community Foundation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Trainings topics and dates are as follows:

  • Tuesday, February 17 – Overview of HR and Best Practices
  • Tuesday, March 3 – Applications and Interviews
  • Tuesday, March 17 – Hiring and Commitment Letters
  • Tuesday, March 31 – Employee Manuals
  • Tuesday, April 14 – Correcting Performance Issues
  • Tuesday, April 28 – Termination
