With temperatures dropping, rivers freezing, and snow falling it’s that time of year again to stay warm! It’s also a good time to start thinking about a board retreat to re-energize your board members for 2013. So we invite the Fort Wayne non-profit community to join us for an opportunity to escape the cold as we turn up the heat on “Planning an Effective Board Retreat”.

  • Choosing a Location: On or Off-Site?
  • Measuring Success: Setting Outcome Goals

Whether your organization has employed board retreats for a long time or your organization is putting one together for the first time, this is a great opportunity to share and/or learn about ideas from non-profit leaders.

Successful retreat planning requires collaboration between both Executive Director and Board Members so this discussion would be appropriate for:

  • Executive Directors
  • Board Chairs
  • Governance Committee Chairs
  • Other Board Members

The cost of the event is $10 per person and the discussion will be led by non-profit consultant, Linda Buskirk of Buskirk Solutions. Any food or beverage is the responsibility of the attendee.
