This spring, the commission will be embarking on a new project called Hoosier INsight: Women’s Issues Listening Sessions and they need you to make the project a success. ICW will be holding seven listening sessions around Indiana to better identify and prioritize the challenges facing women in Indiana. They want to know what you think and how you believe we can make progress to help women in our state. Please share this information with anyone you think would be interested in helping to move Indiana women forward. FMI:www.in.gov/icw/2441.htm.

Women’s Issues Listening Session
Date: Thursday, April 21
Location: Allen County Public Library
Meeting Room A
900 Library Plaza
Fort Wayne, IN 46802
Topics of discussion:
• What are the issues affecting women in your community?
• Which issues are in most need of immediate attention?
• What is currently being done to address the issues?
• How can we improve or expand existing programs?
• What else should be done?
• Who should be involved?
The range of issues that affect women can be overwhelming.
There are so many things that have an impact on the lives of
women, but the unique needs of women are often overlooked in
our communities and our state. More conversations need to
happen and the listening sessions are just the beginning.
Register here, at the EventBrite page for Hoosier INsight: Women’s Issues
If you are unable to attend a listening session, you can still
be involved by:

• Attending the statewide gathering that will
further discuss the priorities set by the women
of Indiana as a result of the listening sessions
