Legacy Fort Wayne Welcomes Ideas from Organizations thru Group-Proposal Option.
An announcement on the Legacy Fort Wayne website explains how nonprofits can submit proposals for the City Light Lease Settlement Funds:
“To expand the ways for gathering community ideas, Legacy Fort Wayne has developed a process for groups to submit proposals on the best uses for the Fort Wayne Community Trust and City Light Lease Settlement Funds.
This group proposal process is intended to provide an opportunity for groups such as area advocacy organizations, non-profit boards, commissions and other established entities to organize on their own and provide their priority recommendations. The Task Force also welcomes ideas from organizations or groups that want to collaborate to provide suggestions. Groups are encouraged to LOOK TO THE FUTURE, THINK LONG-TERM and BE BOLD!
- In order to provide the Task Force with input in a consistent format we ask that your groups’ proposals (up to 3 total) be submitted according to the Group Proposal Submission Requirements.The total submission must be no longer than 3 pages per proposal. In order to facilitate digital transfer, submission of information in Adobe Acrobat is suggested.
- The submission to the Legacy Fort Wayne Task force may also include supplemental information such as excerpts from plans or studies, economic impact analyses and links to videos or other digital information.
- The deadline for submission of these forms in Friday, March 18 at 5PM.
