eBook Launch @ ACPL

Monday marked the beginning of a new era at the Allen County Public Library.  And we want to make sure PCNRC patrons (who hopefully find time to read for fun) are aware of the exciting new service available.

ACPL patrons can now check out eBooks through OverDrive – the same service the library uses for downloadable audiobooks. Patrons may check out up to 10 eBooks or downloadable audiobooks and have a total of  5 holds for eBooks or downloadable audiobooks. PLAC patrons will no longer be able to borrow eBooks or downloadable audiobooks, because OverDrive is limiting usage to Allen County patrons.

The PCNRC collection is NOT currently available in eBook form. (But, remember, you can finally check out the real thing if you stop by to see us!)

A list of eBooks now available to ACPL patrons can be found here. Additional details on how to access ACPL eBook services are available on the acpl.info blog.

Happy eReading.

  1. Wow! After checking out the list of books, I am excited about this! Even though I don’t have or expect to own an ereader, I can see patrons getting excited!

    Thanks for sharing, Megan!
