Network for Good’s Online Giving Study

Have an online giving program? Interested in how to adopt one effectively? Have you seen this yet?

Based on data from the nonprofits who use their platform, Network for Good recently released their 2010 Online Giving Report. You must register to access the report for free here, at the Online Giving Study homepage.

According to the report,

“The study covers $381 million in online giving through Network for Good’s platform, including 3.6 million gifts to 66,470 different nonprofits from 2003-2009.”

Key findings include:

  • “Personality matters.” Is your giving page personally branded?
  • “Donors who gave via charity websites started at the highest level and gave the most over time.” Is your organization
  • Recurring giving is a major driver of giving over time

The 23 page pdf shows how small differences in your organization’s online giving program could add up.  Based on Network for Good’s analysis, you’ll also get tips and useful charts and graphs on what works.
