Reinventing Neighborhoods Conference 2010

I recently became aware of a regional conference that may be of interest to nonprofit and community leaders. Check it out and follow the links to learn more and register.

Reinventing Neighborhoods 2010 Regional Neighborhood Network Conference – Hosted by the City of Dayton

The Reinventing Neighborhoods 2010 Regional Neighborhood Network Conference honors community and neighborhood leaders by providing support and workshops that will enable them to continue with their efforts and take back a wealth of fresh new creative initiatives to their communities.

Focusing on community leadership and neighborhood development in Dayton and surrounding communities, the conference includes workshops on Neighborhood Revitalization, Attracting Neighborhood Investors, Reclaiming Futures coordinated Youth Work, and more.

Workshop attendees include neighborhood/community leaders, school, church and community agency staff, as well as business and government representatives.

The City of Fort Wayne will be chartering a bus free of charge to registered conference goers. The bus will depart on Thursday morning at 10AM from the Freimann Square parking lot and will return Saturday afternoon at approximately 3pm. For residents needing more information you may contact Cherise Dixie, Neighborhood Advocate at 427-1130
