Stay Connected: for emerging leader participants
A periodic e-newsletter to emerging leaders who have participated in the project, announces local board development workshops and opportunities to connect to nonprofits through committee work, task forces, etc.
Emerging leader participants are automatically signed up for Stay Connected, but can opt out.
Nonprofits can share nonprofit committee or task force opportunities via email by emailing email@example.com.
Stewardship Lunches: for Stewardship Award nominees and emerging leaders:
A number of Stewardship nominees have volunteered their support through mutual mentorship to emerging board leaders.
Nominees and participating emerging leaders participants will be invited by email.
Additionally, a packet of Stewardship Nominee profiles is made available to emerging leader participants. The nominees profiled want to share their governance experiences with emerging leaders in subjects like, “Finding your voice in the boardroom,” “Making an impact without a checkbook,” etc.
Get on Board is a project of the Paul Clarke Nonprofit Resource Center with grant support provided by Foellinger Foundation.
