A periodic e-newsletter to emerging leaders who have participated in the project, announces local board development workshops and opportunities to connect to nonprofits through committee work, task forces, etc.

Rolfsen Stewardship Lunches: for Carl D. Rolfsen Stewardship Award nominees and emerging leaders:
A number of Rolfsen Stewardship nominees have volunteered their support through mutual mentorship to emerging board leaders.
Nominees and participating emerging leaders participants will be invited by email.
Emerging leaders who have not yet participated in a Get on Board program will be invited via the YLNI newsletter if space is available.
Additionally, a packet of Rolfsen Stewardship Nominee profiles is made available to emerging leader participants. The nominees profiled want to share their governance experiences with emerging leaders in subjects like, “Finding your voice in the boardroom,” “Making an impact without a checkbook,” etc.
Get on Board is a project of the Paul Clarke Nonprofit Resource Center with grant support by Foellinger Foundation. In 2011, we partnered with YLNI to enhance and expand their existing program. After several years of success, and mutual consensus, we have since taken responsibility for the project.
